“Over the last six months I’ve been using the museum Courtroom as a classroom and it’s been a great experience. Since the museum is just off the High Street, it’s very convenient for me and my students — and the museum staff have been great. Always welcoming and helpful! The Courthouse is ideal for running courses as it’s a high-ceilinged room with plenty of light and space. It’s easy to arrange the desks each week to suit our needs and there’s a kitchen where we make tea and coffee in the breaks. Also, there’s air conditioning in summer and heating in the winter, which has been a huge plus!”

“The courtroom has proved to be a perfect space for our weekly rehearsals. It is a convenient location (a short walk from Waitrose carpark which is free after 6); a spacious room which allows us to set up any number of stage spaces and have room for cast members to sit and watch; well lit and heated for those colder evenings; and equipped with plenty of chairs and tables when we need to sit in a round to read through new scripts.
Communications with museum staff is brilliant, allowing us to make changes in our schedule when shows clash with rehearsal nights or we need emergency extra ones”
