The busy St Neots High Street in the 1900s.
Getting to St Neots Museum
Location & Surroundings
The museum is located in the centre of St Neots on flat land. All surrounding streets, including New Street, have level pavements throughout.
By Car
Pay and display car parks are available at:
- Tebbutts Road
- Waitrose car park
- Riverside Park (0.5 miles/10 minutes walk from the museum)
All car parks have Blue Badge parking spaces. While these are some distance from the museum, you may park briefly at the front of the museum to drop off or pick up passengers (please display your Blue Badge clearly). The route from parking to the museum entrance uses pavement and block paving, which is slightly uneven. Staff can assist with access if booked in advance. Street lighting is available outside the museum.
By Public Transport
Train: St Neots station is on the East Coast main line, approximately one mile from the town centre. A well-used taxi rank is available at the station.
Bus: The nearest bus stop is on the Market Square, a short walk from the museum. Regular services run from local villages and major towns including Cambridge and Oxford.
Taxi: A taxi rank is located at the southeast corner of the Market Square.
