Support us

There are many ways that you can support your local museum in St Neots – offering your time as a volunteer, making a donation or simply by visiting regularly.

Become a volunteer

We could not continue to open and provide the services we do without the help of a large group of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of running the museum, from welcoming visitors, to cataloguing objects, to helping with family workshops.

If you are looking for a new activity with a friendly group of people and are interested in history come along and see what we can offer you.

Volunteers are involved in:

  • our reception welcoming visitors
  • helping with family craft workshops
  • cataloguing our collections
  • publicity and marketing
  • researching local history topics
  • reminiscence sessions in care homes, and
  • building maintenance.

Make a donation

The museum is part funded by St Neots Town Council but is dependent on entrance fees, shop sales, income from talks and workshops and donations to continue to open and to provide services for visitors, schools, families and groups.

All donations help us to continue running the museum and making the history of St Neots and the surrounding area accessible to everyone.
