Workshop: Wire Portraits

27 & 29 May 2026 | 11:00 – 16:00 | £5/child | Age 4+

Inspired by our photography exhibition, you’ll be making two portraits – one drawing on acetate film and the other sculpting with pipe cleaners. Wacky!

Who needs a ticket? Children aged 4+ (£5 per child); adult accompaniment required. Adults attend free.

What to bring? Just enthusiasm and creativity! All materials provided.

What Your Child Will Create

  • Learn to use acetate film to trace a portrait
  • Use pip cleaners and your imagination to sculpt a 3D portrait
  • Choose colours and copy shapes
  • Take home a handmade 3D portrait
