Get involved by becoming a museum volunteer
St Neots Museum could not continue to open and provide the services it does without the help of a large group of dedicated volunteers. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of running the museum, from welcoming visitors, to cataloguing objects, to helping with family workshops.
If you are looking for a new activity with a friendly group of people and are interested in history come along and see what we can offer you.
Volunteers are involved in all of the following areas:
- At our reception welcoming visitors
- Helping with family craft workshops
- Cataloguing our collections
- Publicity and marketing
- Researching local history topics
- Reminiscence sessions in care homes
- Building maintenance
Contact the curator, Liz Davies, or call in and have a chat with one of the volunteers.

The museum is part funded by St Neots Town Council but is dependent on entrance fees, shop sales, income from talks and workshops and donations to continue to open and to provide services for visitors, schools, families and groups.
All donations help us to continue running the museum and making the history of St Neots and the surrounding area accessible to everyone.
