A workshop exploring the many different types of images found in frames, from prints to photographs and certificates, and explaining how to identify and date these images. The workshop will examine how to display, store and preserve your own framed items and will offer the opportunity to bring with you an item that you would like advice about. There will also be an opportunity to see parts of the museum’s collection of photographs and ephemera not usually on display to the public and to meet a local art conservator.

This workshop is part of our In The Frame and Digital Art Decoded’ exhibition which runs from 22nd May – 22nd June. The workshop will be led by the curator, Liz Davies, and a conservation specialist who previously worked for the Norfolk Museums and Archaeology service.
